STORIES
Abdul Hafeez & Syed Taha Ali Kirmani were very good friends. First one was a maglev engineer completely prepared with a car using magnetics instead of car tyres. Due to the other has made a submarine that can subdue in water as well as flies in air. Due to vastness of these technologies, those engineers who belong to these fields were largely welcomed & appreciated at all parts of the globe. Special stress was given to electromagnetism & navigation as well. Huge corporate world was there to support & invest upon the products that they had made. Due to this beneficial offer the corporate world wanted to use engineers in their advertisements. It was for the publicity of their product for more know how of people. In this way, engineers have to work hard from their mind & also from their body. To have a sound mind in a sound body was plead of that futuristic world.
During this busy life in a metropolitan city like Karachi, they don’t have time for their relatives so friends come after blood relatives. As both were tycoons of their fields, they won’t find time for each other except on occasions. Eid ul Fitr, Eid ul Azha & Eid Millad UN Nabi were the main events on which they not only gather but also share their life experiences. They don’t even remember to wish their birthdays. They often forgot to wish their birthdays. Worldly affairs seemed more important for them instead of friendship. There was a tug of war between their friendship & worldly affairs. Worldly affairs overcome them & they got busy in doing their official work. They were unable to talk about their sorrows & happiness. Despite of all these bustling of life, their friendship bond was immortal.
They tried to meet with each other but lack of time was the only wall between them. Once Syed Taha Ali Kirmani saw Abdul Hafeez in maglev car from his submarine. He tried to meet him by taking his submarine closer to the maglev car. As he came closer to the maglev car, he was exhaustively attracted by the magnetic field of the maglev car. An accident occurred & both jolted what really had happened. They were not expecting it all. No one knew what circumstances were waiting for them. For the time being they were not safe. They didn’t actually know where they are as because of the crash both lose their consciousness.
When Syed Taha Ali Kirmani gradually opened his eyes, he saw his great friend Abdul Hafeez just beside his bed. Both were badly wounded & they were in much pain. Syed Taha Ali Kirmani inquired about their way to the hospital. Abdul Hafeez replied one of his family members had brought us to this place. Hospital was quite satisfactory from its general appearance of the intensive care unit. It was provided with all the necessary facilities. Meanwhile, doctor examined both of them & narrated the whole drama from the crash to the bed. He completed that Syed Taha Ali Kirmani still need bottle of blood because he had lost much of his blood in that crash. Consequently, the blood group of Abdul Hafeez & Syed Taha Ali Kirmani matched & transferred. Syed Taha Ali Kirmani was very much thankful to Abdul Hafeez but Abdul Hafeez refused to accept any thanks by saying that there are no thanks in friendship. Both friends burst into tears that in the full quick activity of life, they neglected & look upon their friends from the faintest angle. Now, it was completely cleared to both of them that a true friend is the one who not only appreciate our victories but also our companion in darkest hours of life.
The next day, doctor again came straight towards their beds & told them good news that they are well enough to shift them to general wards & tomorrow they will be free from the hospital. In the general room members of both of their families were desperately waiting for them not only to greet thembut also giving them a piece of advice. They advised them that there are things that cannot be bought with money & friendship is among one of them.
Hospital seemed to be a hectic place for everyone but it givesavery positive hint to both friends that they must not refuse to take notice of their friendship & gave time to their friends.

Freedom
Was it a dream? Maybe.

What is a dream anyway? Hope, fear and fantasy interwoven so closely that it is impossible to tell them apart? Are the raindrops softly ticking against the window a dream too? Tears of a weeping spirit? Should there be a line between fantasy and reality, and if so why? There is no reality. There is no fantasy. There is only here. Now. Life.
Jiol quietly climbed the stairs to her room; leaving behind the trailing sound of her mother who was explaining a friend that she didn't understand her daughter, that Jiol was a dreamer, had her head in the clouds. As the door clicked close behind her Jiol realized she was alone again. It was a cold thought that made her shiver as if somebody had plates of ice in her neck and drops of freezing ice water were seeping down over her spine. Some boys had done that once as a joke she remembered, long ago. It didn't matter. Looking through the rain wet window of her small room she saw the fading light of a setting sun reflected on the snow-covered landscape, and she smiled. Today would be the day. In her mind she could see them already: galloping over the snowy fields and dodging the age-old pines. The ice of her loneliness melted with the gentle warmth of her smile. She could hear their irresistible call.
As darkness fell she sat motionless on the floor, her arms wrapped around her legs, a fragile smile on her lips and the joy of freedom in eyes that kept the window in their relentless stare. She had sat there before without the smile and with eyes colored by doubt and sadness but now there was neither - nor fears or uncertainty - only a smile.
She didn't make any light, she wouldn't need any; for her eyes there was enough light to see by. She felt as if she was sitting on a tapestry of light and in her mind saw a layer of it surround her, clinging close and keeping the darkness away. No she wouldn't need a light, she knew the way. After years of searching she had finally found it by embracing her dreams and when she did had realized she'd always known where to find it. She was a dreamer, but what were dreams? Her mother had been right: she didn't understand. Jiol's smile widened for a second, her eyes for a moment losing their focus as she shyly bowed her head and looked inwards. She had always done that when a happy or funny thought struck her.
When she saw the rising moon through the little window she stood up and looked at her room one last time while turning a full circle. Her smile brightened. No regrets.
She opened the window and climbed through, hardly noticing the streaming rain. She jumped from her attic room and floated down so gently that she made no print in the snow when she softly touched the ground. She knew the path and she would walk it, she had heard their call.
The forest wasn't dark at night, it only seemed dark to those who refused to see the glowing pixies playing around, laughing softly with the whispers of the wind. Jiol walked the path, followed its magical trail through the forest. When she reached the right spot she sat down, picked up the silvery flower somebody had left for her and wove it into her hair. A glowing pixie fluttered around her head before landing on her outstretched hand. It was holding a berry with both hands and nibbled at it without looking up at her. Jiol just smiled and sighed contently. Together they sat there, Jiol and the pixie, neither speaking a word but still sharing a lifetime of understanding, their voiceless words carried by the strength of silence. There was no need to talk, they knew why they were there and waited together.
Finally they came; Jiol could hear from afar the silence of their approach. Not a single leaf rustled as the forest held its breath for their arrival. Jiol could see the first - gracefully avoiding the trees in its run, going this way and that - come ever closer. More joined and the sound of hooves echoed through the forest. The great white unicorns running, galloping towards her, around her, narrowly avoiding her in their natural paths likes a turbulent white river flowing around her. Neither Jiol nor the pixie looked up when they came, neither moved when they ran around them, they just smiled. The pixie nibbled on the berry and looked content, Jiol radiated inner joy and peace.
Finally, when the herd had almost passed, Jiol raised, holding her arm out for the pixie to fly away. Then she turned, her mysterious smile widened once again as she cast her eyes down for a moment, then she jumped and ran with the unicorns, and was never seen again.

DIALOGUE WRITING
T: Hi how are you?
H: I am fine.
T: You are looking worried.
H: I am worried about our TA session.
T: TA sessions & mentoring are complete waste of time.
H: Why do you think like this?
T: Teaching Assistants are not good as the teachers are themselves & cannot give us the appropriate answers
of our time.
H: But I think that TA sessions are necessary as the teacher itself is not available all the time.
T: They give us free sessions se we so we can freely study what we want without any obstruction.
H: In that case we will not be able to complete our credit hours.
T: credit hours are important but I don’t think the TA session is the only way to complete them. Teacher
should spend more time with them.
H: May be it is not possible for teachers to manage them more time for there students. Moreover,  we can
talk more freely to the TA then the teachers and we can discuss things with them that we can’t share with
the teachers.
T: That is a good point but I still don’t think that TAs can ever replace teachers.
H: All of us can have our own prospective.
T: Ok, lets go our session is going to start.
